While studying Interaction Design at the Estonian Academy of Arts, we took on a challenge from a major Estonian pharmacy retailer.
Our mission? To design an innovative service or app that would elevate their brand and benefit their customers, all within the constraints of a demanding 9-day workshop.
Our project began with healthcare trend research, focusing on rural areas to aid the brand’s outreach to a population lacking big city healthcare access.
We interviewed 9 people in our target audience, identifying three key issues: Awareness, Time, and Distance. Desk research uncovered a WHO article on International Space Station medical emergencies, inspiring our solutions.

Through sketches, prototypes, and feedback from mentors, reps, and our target users, we explored multiple solutions before arriving at our final concept: a customisable digital health assistant.

We created a customisable digital first aid kit, focusing on the user journey, product aesthetics, user education, and app functionality.
New customers connect with the pharmacy to tailor the kit’s contents, which include a tablet featuring e-paper technology for readability and minimal distractions, delivered to their doorstep.
Existing kit owners can conveniently reorder supplies via the kit, with an option for automatic renewals.
